I cant for the life of me! I dread having spaghetti or noodles or siwayyan at any formal events. I know the best way to eat it, is to rotate your fork in it for a few seconds and then neatly tuck a mouthful but hey ! doesnt work for me !
What do you guys think, are you the ones who feel comfortable eating spaghetti in formal setting? can you eat it gracefully
Shak, dude, I can, but imagine you , eating one or two spaghetti strings at a time
LP, I feel, that , the rotating bit leaves it tasteless! its like eating a huge lump of aata ! its much more fun to eat spaghetti in a “spread in every direction” manner !
At a formal event, the taste doesn’t matter to me. I try to finish off the task of eating as quick as possible. Mera bas chaley tou mai khaye baghair he wapas aa jaon, but that would be rude:bummer:
I used to be like that years ago. I used to envy people who could eat so “bindaas” anywhere . Then with time, I learnt to stop caring about others and just learnt to enjoy good food.
Though there are still certain types of food that make me nervous as heck , if i try eating them at formal setting
Duh! how long does it take you to do each lukma ! waise I am an expert at having it all rounded up on the fork without having to use a knife at all. Problem begins when I am about to eat it . Its usually too big of a morsel and I end up with bits of it hanging about that just seem too awkward !
Never had an issue with this myself either…if the wound up morsel is too much for a mouthful, maybe “wind” less? Or cut the spaghetti first so that the length is less?
