As I understood this thing from Quran, it is as followed.
We are allowed to eat the Zabeeha of People of the book (surah Al-Ma'idah)
We are not allowed to eat meat on which ALLAH's name is not taken (Surah Al-Inaam)
hence, I conclude that it is permissible to eat zabeeha of people of the book as per Quran as long as it is observed in the light of divine rules of slaughtering given to people of the book.
Same rule applies on zabeeha done by fellow muslims.
That is My understanding... and hence I avoid eating jhatka for ALLAH's name is nto taken at the time of slaughter on such meat.
I did not forseek any fatwah on this for it was too clear to me. And also I have this hadeeth in mind which says that "Leave what is doubtful"
