I want to know if eating and drinking from the right hand is Sunnah or Farz?
Also, what is the ruling for people who are lefty and thus can not eat or drink with their right hands easily.
How can it be Farz? Its probably Sunnah and a preferable way to follow. I think the right religious word for it is "Mustahib".
I'm not even close to a molvi but I'm sure if you are lefty, its advisable to make an effort to eat/drink from right hand. And if you tried and didnt work out, doubt there is any punishment to that
**Whether its Sunnah or Fardh, our way of living should be according to teachings of Islam.
Sunnah doesnt mean its less preferable than Fardh.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
When any one of you intends to eat (meal), he should eat with his right hand. and when he (intends) to drink he should drink with his right hand, for the Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand.

So, being lefty is not an excuse actually. Would you like to eat/drink like a satan? I m sure you wont!**
