it depends, sometimes I like to eat with people sometimes I dont.
while breakfast and dinner is a family thing, at work it depends
I have lunch with colleagues, former colleague and frineds in the area
or when very busy which is several days a week, stuff a sandwich in my face while working
every so often I will go for a solo lunch, mostly sushi at this Kaiten sushi place, sometimes other places, usually when I just need some me time.
oh yeah, I dont share plate though. I have been in communal eating like at arab and daudi bohra events but dont really enjoy it.

i hated eating alone. i’d rather go hungry than sit by myself and eat. that used to be me. now i have no choice but to eat alone. but i still consider iftari by one’s self very sad. but hey, you gotta eat, right? i think cuz of that i eat too much. no one there to watch me eat :hmmm:

At home I have no problem with either eating with others or alone. If alone I tend to watch tv too or read a book.
At work i preferred to eat alone, didnt want anyone else seeing me eat,felt a bit uncomfortable, plus lunchtime was my small break to relax and forget work for a short while so i didnt like people infringing on it.
