Easy Iftari....

My dad has patented this dish, very easy to make, and it’s compulsory in Ramazan in our house.

Take a can of fish (sardines) or any fish that does not smell very fishy.
Mash the fish with a little butter , a good portion of cream cheese, a bit of marmite and a dash of pepper. (Americans you all can use mustard if you don’t have marmite)

Mash them to a paste , Toast 4 slices of bread , cut them into small squares, put the paste on the pieces of bread.
Get some seedless green olives, the ones with stuffed pimento’s would work too , slice them in halves , put half an olive on top of each piece of bread. Garnish with a drop of ketchup and voila you have an aperitif’du ‘ Ramazan.

Try it out ppl and let me know , very easy and tasty.

Here are a few pictures……

Re: Easy Iftari....

an old iftari idea that no one liked.

Re: Easy Iftari....

Looks nice, but i can't eat too much fish or olives cos they're garam and in Ramadan especially, will get me even more dehydrated :(...

Will this be just as good if u substitute fish for something else, like chicken? And no olives *erghh! :D*

Re: Easy Iftari....

PKC i tried it with mashed potatoes and it turned out delicious... thanks
