I’m looking for a quick n easy recipe for banoffee pie.
Normally make trifle but thought this would be a nice alternative.
Take crushed digestive biscuits and butter ..press on the bottom of a pie pan or round flat dish. Slice bananas on top.
To make the toffee…take two tins of condensed milk, put them in a deep pot and cover with water. They should be submerged…cook it for like 2 hrs and the condensed milk should turn into toffee. Spoon this over the bananas. Until theyre covered. Add another layer of sliced bananas and top it woth whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

I’ve tried Fauzia’s from fauziaskitchenfun - its yummy! very rich and sweet, hence why i make it and only stick to a couple of spoons!
