Bajji something nice, simple…but beautiful and elegent at the same time, something decent for a shaddi, valima…hmmmmmm and what would you wear to a mhindi???/ Haven’t been to a wedding in 5 years, and haven’t been to pk in 11 years, so what kind of clothes are in??? that are also modest??

why not wear an elaborate outfit on the shadi/valima only
and for mehndi go for something simple yet elegant
how bout a yellow and green outfit with sheeshay ka kaam? with a hint of red too
and dress up with accessories
like kaanch ki choorian
paranda and those jhumkay kinda stuff in the ears
with khoosay and those chain paazaibs
will look cute
just thought i'd add something, by the way all the previous dresses were beautiful in there own ways!

I had 3 valima outfits since my saas had no idea what i would like
There was the traditional Bihari Banarsi Sari
then there was a Peach colored extremely beautiful lengha, which i wanted to wear so much but mummy said it wouldnt stand out that much
The third was this Dark real Dark emerald green lengha
which I wore on the valima
it wasnt that heavy just enough for me to handle while walking around
k how bout a gharara on the mehndi
simple gharara not that elaborate
silk gharara, with chunri shirt and chunri duppatta?
and a lehnga on the shadi day
and sari on the valima would look fine
the belt saris are such a breeze
just take care that you tell the tailor how long you want the pallu to be
cause most of em leave a very lil palu which is out of fasion
these days pallus are loooooooooooooooooooong
and usually the saris arent that bhari howi
its the blouse that is the centre of all the kaam waghera
a joorgit(sp) or silk sari will make you look slim and tall
dont wear banarsi they kinda are for married women and too much work on em
and you can always wear heels if you can manage em

and lengha doesnt have that much of ghera but like a sharara
