Re: Easter / Happy Passover Easter
Easter is the day Christians believe Jesus was resurrected, after being crucified days earlier on Good Friday. The belief is that Jesus shared The Last Supper with his disciples before being arrested and crucified.
Passover is a Jewish holiday that commerates the Exodus, the freedom from slavery from ancient Egypt for the Children of Israel.
By wishing “Happy Easter”, it means someone is sharing joy on the resurrection of Christ.
“Happy Passover Easter” doesn’t make any sense because these are two different things. I’ve never heard it expressed that way.
Happy Passover is one way to wish someone but the traditional way is in Hebrew-- Chag Sameach
Btw, some say The Last Supper was actually a Passover Seder that Jesus shared with his disciples.

Thank you. I heard that ‘egg’ used on this/these occasion(s) like use of turkey on thanksgiving. Is it true?
