Who’s on? i certainly am, as a real pakistani who has always considered them as brothers, despite the way we treated them! whenever east pakistan or bang is playing i find myslef rooting for them obviously not f they r playing west pakistan! but i just loved their agression and that tamim iqbal he is a player to watch out for, anywayz im rooting for them to cause a few more shocks!! go tigers!

I will chear them for these 2 reasons.

  1. They defeated India
  2. They are Muslims.

Despite the brotherly feelings, one thing will always irk me: after Pakistan's defeat against Bangladesh in the 1999 World Cup, Wasim Akram had said that he was glad even if they were defeated, they were defeated at the hands of Bangladeshi brothers. The Bangladesh captain told the papers that "Bangladesh had avenged 1971". So much for brotherly love...

Why Pakistanis bring religion into sports? Sports is sports and religion is religion! They are two separate things! I feel very bad about his sickness of my people! Pakistan hockey team shouting Allah-Akbar even if they were playing against Egypt and Malaysia!

If cricket becomes popular in great sporting nations such as USA, China, France and Germany (and others too), both Pakistan and India even wont qualify for the world cup final rounds!

Dont call them East Pakistan....It is Bangladesh.
