Easiest way to make stir fry?

I want to try to make stir fry tonight.. so any good receipe..

i want to try shrimp stir fry.. since i have veg and shrimps at home..

also, which sauce should I use?

ideas?

stir fry is very easy and versatile..just thorw in whatever veggies and meat u have..toss it in olive oil.. it's good

I've never made or had shrimp stir fry but I'm assuming it's made the same way vegetable stir fry is made. I usually just heat oil, add couple of crushed garlic cloves to it, stir and add the veggies(you will want to add shrimps first if they take longer to cook) and salt and pepper. If you like some sauce then take 1/4 cup of warm water add some soy sauce,some sugar and 2-3 tbs corn starch, stir it up and add to prepared vegetables.

heat skillet
add 2 tblsp of sesame oil
add 1 tblsp of chili oil
add 1/2 tsp of crushed garlic
add 1/2 pound of shelled, deveined shrimp
cook till the preferred tenderness of shrimp is reached.

remove shrimp from skillet and set aside

add 1 tsp of sesame oil to skillet
add preferred variety of veggies (include: mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn, snow peas, water chestnuts, bok choy, bean sprouts, green red and yellow peppers etc.)
add salt and black pepper to taste

separately prepare......
to one cup of water add 1 tblsp of corn starch and 1 tblsp of soya sauce
mix well

back to skilliet.......
when veggies are sauteed to your preference re-introduce the shrimps set aside earlier
stir fry until shrimp are heated once again
add corn starch mixture and keep stirring

remove from heat when preferred amount of gravy is left in the pan.

garnish with roasted sesame seeds or cashew nuts and enjoy!

shrimp cook faster then veggies, ppl overcook shrimp many times. muzna's approach is a good one of cooking seperate and then mixing.

also to keep veggies crisp, give them a ice cold water bath or soak just before frying.

you noticed the overcooked shrimp too huh?
I have such a pet peeve about people overcooking all sorts of meats and seafood...my steaks should be pink....most of the way through.......and my shellfish should be tender...not rubbery.
