I spoke to a friend (who is like an elder brother) this morning enquiring how his family's doing in Kashmir. He said his immidiate family is fine; however, their family friends and neighbours (I think) have passed away.
It must be the most difficult feeling. First to survive, then to find out that those who were either part of your lives or lived in the surrounding area are there no more.
PKC, your friend's story is truly very traumatic. May Allah (SWT) help the affected, ameen.
