Just heard about earthquake in pakistan about 15 minutes ago.

Karachi - 6.3 scale.

Just heard about it it's also affected India too and the aftershocks seem to be very far reaching.

Not sure about the physical damage... I am hoping for it to be light if anyhting or not at all... but I am preparing for the worst.

I think most people will get out of this if they are lucky, the timing is bad but I am hearing that many have got out of thier buldings even in the dead of night. Hope it's not too cold...

Apparently tremors felt in UAE too. We didn't feel a thing in this side of town though.

Some of my friends in Sharjah and around Bur Dubai side did.

Magnitude 7.4 quake hits Pakistan: USGS

                            WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck southwestern Pakistan, the U.S. Geological Survey reported on Tuesday.
              It said the quake, initially reported as a magnitude 7.3, was very  shallow at a depth of 6.3 miles. It struck 34 miles west of Dalbandin at  1:23 a.m. local time on Wednesday (2023 GMT on Tuesday).
              The Pacific Tsunami Center said the onshore quake had not triggered a tsunami in the Indian Ocean.
              A major quake of this magnitude is capable of causing widespread and heavy damage.

										 												 																										**KARACHI: A severe earthquake of 6.3 magnitude had hit several parts of the Pakistan at early hours of Wednesday.**

The epicenter of the quake was 65 kilometer North West of the Kharan, Balochistan. No casualties reported yet.

This is remarkable it seems a massive Indo Persian Plate is shifting under the Earths surface, the scale is massive as tremors are being felt from the Gulf right across the Indian Ocean I hope there is no Tsunami on the way....

epicenter is on Sindh Balochistan Border unpopulated area between Dera Murad Jamali and Quetta, Intensity was high
