It is the worst natural disaster in the history of Pakistan. Time to show unity despite our differences. May Allah keep us safe as there are predictions of further shocks within next 48 hours

Kidding about what DD? I just heard it on the news too. More than a 1000 expected to die. This is too tragic. Islamabad is worst hit ive heard. Can somebody try to get in touch with all guppies from Islamabad please... This is too sad :(

How scary. I just phoned in laws near Islamabad and sil said they felt the earth move but no damage in our area thank god.
Sorry for the people who are caught up in it though. Will pray for them.

Those that died in a state of Roza while fulifilling their duties to Allah :swt:…How graciously the angels must have taken their souls…
And those that died disobeying Allah…How must they be faring?

In lahore there is no large scale damage, as far as I know, few buildings in Shah alam market and the old city some homes. LDA plaza and some other building have been evacuated for inspection... In Islamabad/pindi the damage is large scale also in Kashmir,NWFP

my mom said she was reading newspaper in the morning when she felt the jolts and she saw the chandeliers shaking and the bulbs making sounds. And my sister and brother who were sleeping came out running. And she said she has never experienced anything like that before. But everything's fine, thank God.

Most of the damage is reported to be in Azad Kashmir, Hazara, Northern Areas and Islamabad.
