It could be Tsunami’s after effects or may be any new development in the ocean’s bed!
Now the time is for prayers…

Karachi’s few districts are already on the earthquake’s belt, especially Pakistan Steel’s Mill’s area and also some areas in Baulchistan including Queta city are at the center of belt!

Natural disasters are the hints to Muslims to take lessons and make correction…flood, quacks, Tsunami etc are few of them …May Allah protect us and each and every inch of Pakistan from any type of disaster, aamin !

The only ppl i have come across with who r saying they have felt it as massive shocks r from clifton area. And that is almost what news channels r saying.

If Clifton and Defense areas are on the other side of a major fault, only then it is possible to feel the shock there and not in other part of the city. I know for a fact that the Sourthern portion of Sindh is highly faulted and fractured. I am unaware of any major fault planes crossing right across Karachi, though.

However, this being said, people living in flats/high rise buildings will feel the tremors more than others.
