Devastaing earthquake is still rambling the earth in the affected regions. I spoke to a friend in Peshawar. He informed me that it is raining there right at the moment and tremors are still shaking the earth off and on. Life in Abbotabad and adjoining areas is crippled and people are terrified. My relatives and friends in Islamabad are equally terrified.
There is nothing a man can do when met with such powerful manifestations of the Creator, telling us He is watching over us. Sinful, thats what we are, need to look back and realise that the transitory life in which we unfailingly pursue our mundane desires can just be ended in a jerk at any time. These business empires we build without recourse to justice towards the society and its economy and paying back to Allah in the form of Zakat and Alms can lose the ground and crumble. There is much to learn from such reminders from the Omnipotent. Alas, we never hear.
May God protect us all from these trials and shows us the right path that leads to the lightness leading to eternal bliss.
Allah hum sab ka Haamee wa Naasir ho. Aameen.

amen...i just got back frm takin the SATs and my sister had been messaging so much frm paki (lhr), and she was like she woke up and the walls were shaking and they are stille xpecting after tremors....omg this is so sad...

thank god ur ok. my mom is in islamabad n she said it was the worst thing ever and she’s never experienced such a thing in her life. i talked to her 2 secs after the quake. thank god she’s ok but i heard more than 2000 ppl died
