im planing to buy a hybrid car & recycle more things from now on.

well all the Aluminum soda/other cans, glass bottles, the milk/juice plastic containers,grocery plastic bags,foil, PAperrrrrs..etc.
and whichever thing has the sign on it..if its recycable 
oo and also instead of throwing away old batteries.BUy more rechargeable baterries .

but does not the city/village govt. do that for you? I mean you just have to put them in a proper bag and on a specific day out in front of your home... You are not recycling. You are giving away to recycle them:P

We recycled the Aluminum Foil in chem. Lab its possible!
so you can try recycling it yourself as well, But you may not want to

For the city dwellers, which I call the urban cement jungle, I say go out of town, not just to the city park, outside to the wilderness and trails! Best way to spend earth day is to cherish it.
Earth Day : World going Red while Pakistan going green
22 April , Today is the international earth day. While the developed world is eating the scarce resources of mother earth at an alarming rate, it is heartening to know that developing counrtries like Pakistan is reducing its emmision of greenhouse gas at a very fast pace without getting any recognition or appreciation from world.
CNG is the most envirnment friendly in all types of fossil fuels. Greenhouse gas emmisision is less than 25% as compared to gassoline. Pakistan has the Seventh biggest poppulation in the world and Pakistan is poised to become largest CNG user in world by next year :k:

AQ- the spray cans were an issue due to to choloroflourocarbons, CFCs, which have been taken out for the most part.
anyways..aside from just recycling your cans and cardboard, please note that proper disposal of electronics and electrical rpoducts is crucial as is that of medicine, especially prescription medicine. tossed in trash the release compunds that then get into water and and vegetation etc.
same can be said of your dvd and cds, they have dangerous compounds in them that start impacting the environment.
read up, and do your bit to reduce how much environmental impact you have on the world around you. (a general you)
its really small things. It wasnot until I started recycling regularly that i realized how much is the stuff that was otherwise just going to landfills.
and folks, please read the fine print, many ppl are going for those low eergy bumbs, which is s good thing, but the issue withthem is mercury so u cant just toss em..not that you should have tossed regular bulbs anyways, but these can be very dangerous.
