The day after the Oscars is always a slow one in Hollywood … most of the dealmakers (agents and studio execs) slept in after a night partying around at the Governors Ball and assorted venues around town. Still, there were a few tidbits of news, such as these casting notes.
Girl next door Mandy Moore has signed on to star in ‘Falling Slowly,’ a supernatural drama about a couple whose apartment is haunted by a dark presence. The film will be the directorial debut of ‘Buried’ writer Chris Sparling. Also cast in the film is Rodrigo Santoro, who played a supporting role in ‘I Love You Phillip Morris’ and voices a character in the upcoming animated ‘Rango.’ Variety].
