My daughters ears have been pierced yesterday but one is slightly higher, what shall I do I’m panicking :frowning:

What if I was to take one out and get it re pierced once its healed?

Don’t put anything in it… Let it close and then get it done again.

Really, just one or both? I’m so glad u told me khawa… Panic attacks and what not happening to me… This experience was meant to be great, now I feel like a bad person

While we are on the subject. What is a good age to get this done? My older daughter is almost 5 and has not had her ears pierced yet.

^ my sister is 7 and she hasn’t had hers done, buzurg say younger the better as their skin isn’t so tough? When we ask my sister now she’s like no way because it’ll hurt

EDIT: mine were done at 6 months, I had mine done twice as first time my mamu just took me without informing anyone had had them pierced in pak but grandma didn’t like them as they were too low and had to get them redone

mine was done at 2 months and what happened to zimzimma’s daughter happened with me :frowning: so no I am not getting my daughter’s done till she herself asks me for it

Can you tell with yours diamond that one is higher then the other when u have studs/earrings in?

well i am not in favour of piercing at young age atleast the child should know wht is happening as you have to take care of it , my baby is almost 2 years i m not even thinking of it till she helrself says mum i want.

me n my all cusns got after 10 years we still remember.

my case was not that one was higher than other but actually both of them were not in center and were quite high . It got very obvious after I grew up. Those wholes are still there and I got my ears pierced again after 20ish.

the first with 4
the second with 2
the third with 1

the one that healed the best was with the third one at age 1, we had our doc do it, numbed and everything … and we marked the area with a black marker first, so thats where the doc shoot the gun. doesnt hurt much I too did a second hole in my ear in my twenties but later it closed as I didnt like the look and didnt put anything in it.

I can’t tell! They seem fine to me.

I’m someone whose ears are pierced absolutely wrong. One is fine(where it should be).. the other one is on the far end of the ear lobe.. I prefer not to wear small studs or earrings because they look silly.. you can just see one and the other one is invisible being close to my face. :frowning:

Also it’s much much better to get the ears pierced when they’re little.. because then the healing process is quicker. And by the time they get old.. they know it’s gonna hurt so they keep avoiding it. Like my sister who got hers done when she turned 20.. and that too after the familys begging and pleading. =D

Oh and she cried for bout 5 mins, gave her some calpol and they havent even bothered her since she was playing like she does usually and slept through the night too
