When did you get your daughter’s ears pierced??
As early as 6 months or when they were older..??
And from where,the pediatrician or some departmental store which do that..??

Haven't got a kid yet but I didn't get mine done till 13 :( wayyyyyy too late..

I must have been about 6 months. Iv had my ears pierced by some random women using a needle. They were too close to the edge so i left it to close up. I got my Pinna pierced when i was 15...lied that i was 16. Two years ago i got tragus pierced......deciding what to do next lol

i think 6 months is way too early. im not going to get my daughters pierced till shes about 7-8 not earlier than that, no way

I was thinking of waiting till mine is a year old.

My ears were pierced as a baby, but I would pull on the earrings, so my parents let the holes close. I was repierced around 4 (I still remember).

And for the 2nd got them twice when I was 15 and 16 :)**

I got my daughter's ears pierced when she was 1.5 years old. I got it done in Pakistan at a shop with a silver baali (ear ring), it had a pointy end (like a needle) and the guy did it within seconds..... my daughter just said ouch and went back to playing with her doll happily :D

i had mine done an hour after birth... was taken to get cleaned up and when brought back, was sporting diamond studs... turns it, it was in the delivery package :D parents were happy thankfully

this was in arabia.. very common here :D

I am thinking of getting them when she is about a year..Inshallah.
I love baby girls with tiny miny studs and I can't wait for her to wear 'em...

But unfortunately this guy hit the gun at wrong spots, so i had to get it done again.

Actually 6 months is not too early, this is time when one should get it pierced, skin of the child is very very soft at this stage otherwise it becomes more painfull

I got my daughter ears pierced at 6 years old.I never liked small girls wearing earings.:bummer:

I got my daughter's done when she was six months old. One of the piercings in the lower half of the ear and some folks are telling me to close it out and get it done again.Hubs has refused so far. Not sure if that matters.

if its too low , she wont be able to wear heavy earrrings when she grows up for fear of ripping her ear .... i would say let it shut and then re pierce... just so she doesnt look like a freak wearing onely one stud, put a zeera ka tinka in the other ear so it doesnt close and you wont be able to see it .... no point in getting a perfectly good hole shut.

a sincere advise for all the parents ......please don't use the gun method for piercing , it's dangerous because they use the same needle on everyone and it can transfer diseases. The best and safest method is to use chaandi ka taar. Or if you don't have any choice ask the guy to put brand new needle in the gun.

Ira I agree with what Khawa said. My mom got mine pierced when I was 2 months old and it went wrong. Now when I see those piercing they are not in the centre. I got my ears pierced again a few years back but it was a very painful experience. It took 4-5 months to heal & till now I can not wear heavy earnings as bleeding starts from them. So best is that you let them close and get it done again. She is a kid right now , the holes will close easily and in lesser time.

My parents got mine done when i was about 3 months old... I love lil studs on baby girls, it looks cute.
