Eagle eyed fashionistas....

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas....

i think the "sari" would look a bit off done that way since u wouldnt get the proper 'fall' that comes with pleating. better to get a plain suit made in either pink or ferozi and use the heavy dupatta with that.
keep the sleeves on the purple outfit..

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas…

i can wear it as a dhoti…:chai:

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas…

I do the same thing with my nephew sometimes :phati:

cmon nobody thinks it’d look good as a “saree”?? maybe if i halved myself vertically (or horizontally??), i’ be able to wrap it around me at least more than once…then??? :@:

:asa:

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas....

Yes sara that's what i mean. I have an outfit like this and believe me it looks awesome. you can have your darzi use your kaam wala slevees as slevees for another outfit. the slevees are long so i would have him make them half slevees, but that's just my opinion. if he still has extra kapra left then maybe you can even get some of it use for your kameez's gala as well. You can probably have him make that collar wala gala for your kameez using the kapra from the slevees if you have enough left after using it for the slevees.

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas....

wow I love the design on your wedding dress dupatta, is that zari or embroidery? I guess you got it somewhere in pak right?

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas....

I think its mostly kundan. its VERY heavy. and i dont know what zari is.. im sure someone else can say.....
My dad got it from Rang-Mahal in Lahore...

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas....

Kundan or zari, It's just wow gorgeous!! :)

it really is beautiful!

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas…

ThankS Pakifairy and Indopak…

Re: Eagle eyed fashionistas....

sara- not sure about the sari idea, but you can totally have a darzi cut the sleeves of the pishwaas and make them half sleeve :). he/she would just have to unstitch the entire bazoo and cut from the top of the bazoo so you can use the bottom half of the full sleeve as your half sleeve. make sense? :)
