EA sports cricket 2005 is already released in UK. It is due to be released in Aus/NZ later this week. Has anybody experienced the game at all? If yes, then please do share your views.
I have been a little confused as to which game to buy, because Codemasters’ are releasing their game (Ricky Ponting Cricket 2005) later this month too. I think the competition between the two brands is real stiff!

i played PC version... very cool...
isn;t as easy as prev. versions...
they don't spot the ball until the last two seconds... so u don't get time to make ur shot..

There is also Brian Lara Cricket 2005 for XBOX. Does anyone know if these games will be released in the US. Also, which one is better? The one from EA received very bad ratings.

lol...go to the nets man...it isnt that hard...me and my boy made 240 off 50 overs...still havent hit a century yet though...
One thing though...bowling is annoying...the al isnt trained to score runs quickly and the computer batsmen dont suddenly get aggressive...trust me england made 44-2 off 50 overs chasing that 240...ive never been soooo bored....but when i played the Aussies in a 10 over match they clobbered me for 76...razzaq going for 38 off two overs ouch

took me 2 days and now its easy to hit 400 even in a 20 over match....
