Hi all. I have been playing this game for quite a while now but still am unable to master the ‘hard’ mode. I can win the test matches in the hard mode (mainly coz my spinners rip apart the opposition) but in ODIs i have great difficulty batting (specially hitting).
So all the people out there who own this game, plz share tips n tricks and let the world know how good u r in the hard mode. Thanks.
I´ve been trying to play it, but the six-hit button never works. 
All the other buttons do though.
try keeping the SIX hit button as the SHIFT key, others dont work well....
the game is really much easier than previous versions and hitting a SIX is too easy....
i've had far too many overs which went for 36 runs that i've stopped playing the game....
scoring at rate of 15 RPO (ofcourse spinners and swingers slow u down) is just too easy a task....
i've even scored 400+ in 20 overs....
imagine that!!!!
the game is the worst EA Sports Cricket version i've yet seen....
perhaps 2000 was the closest one to being so bad....
i sill think cricket 97 (ashes tour edition) is the best they've produced in terms of gameplay....
^^ Dont you think that the bowling is much more difficult in 2004?
sorry to say but EA Sports has consitently made progressively worse cricket games, they just don't get it.
The best cricket video game in have played is BrianLara 99.. EA Sports cricket makes no sense and is very hard to play, and graphics isnt very good.. I hope Codemasters( company that made BL99) comes up with a new version of Brian Lara cricket.
EA cricket games seems to get worse every year. The graphics stinks, haven't played any EA game with such bad graphics.
