I don’t know what i actually think about the idea! My mom thought that we should send out e-invited since we’ll come to pakistan 2 weeks before the shaddi! I’m actually scared that some will get offended..

also, my cousin in canada told me whenever someone send out e-invites, they get less money/gifts as they think it’ll be a cheap event and therefore give gifts of that sort

Though most people wouldn’t consciously think this way, it may subconsciously affect how much they decide to give.
