also, my cousin in canada told me whenever someone send out e-invites, they get less money/gifts as they think it’ll be a cheap event and therefore give gifts of that sort

well, are you inviting people for the gifts they’re going to give you, or because you want them to be at your wedding because they’re family and friends of yours?
