I don’t know where to post this thread so sorry If i m posting in wrong section. Its just that I am so pissed at these people., I don’t know about you but I had a worst worst worst experience ever ! I live in Karachi Defence, 5 mins from Labels outlet,I was telling my hubby last days about this website and store online and he without telling me ordered two lawn suits from it and made payments from US. its been 3 weeks, one week I Didnt even get any response, Then i was being told k one of the jora is out of stock, they can send one atm, I said Okay, they did the next day. And its been 2 weeks more they have not sent me the other suit not even giving me my money back or responding me. Its not that one big of an issue it was just a lawn suit but this is seriously ridiculous.
Anyone of you planning to make any purchases from this website,beware ! you ll regret high time.
I ordered 3 times from them...first time I had to remind them after 2 weeks that your website states within 2 days...and my address was in Lahore...not in some rural area...2nd time I had no problem...got my order within 4 days...was a happy customer...my 3rd orders was from the alkaram collection....I placed the order on 26th of April and still waiting....they said...Alkaram people were giving them hard time and then they took all the products out of their website...later they told me 2 out of 4 items were being shipped...got the tracking number...tcs tracker shows it was delivered next day...but my contact didn't get anything yet....I have emailed them back...and waiting for the response...I have had few bad experiences with Pakistani shops...I thought it was my bad luck last year...but I think in Pakistan...this is how the business is being done...customer is the last priority...
Those of you who received your items must be the few lucky ones. I placed an order almost a month ago and as I type this, I have yet to receive my items. It took them two weeks to figure out that the al karam outfits I ordered were no longer in stock. Why list it on your website then!! I then proceeded to substitute items within the same price range for the out of stock items. I was informed yeah sure no problem that could be done. I thought great, problem solved! I then get another email saying one of my other kurta was not available in the color I wanted, but instead in a different color. I said no problem, I'll go ahead and get whatever color is available. Again, took them two weeks to realize oh this color isn't available anymore. First an issue with al karam, and now another designer. Seriously?!
I placed an order before a trip, and I had ordered presents for my sister, thinking I will get my items in three days. I had made sure I ordered items in stock and nothing made to measure! The trip is now over and I still don't have a single item in my hand. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them. There is no number to call. Yes, they respond to my email quickly but it is always some lame excuse as to why I still don't have my clothes. Based on the reviews here, I had placed an order but I have my doubts about using them again. Apparently, my stuff is being dispatched, but still unable to track anything. Anytime I mention I want to cancel my order, all I get is the generic "extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused." I'm so close to filing a complaint with my cc company if nothing is dispatched this week. ANNOYING!!
I think sometimes the problem does tend to be from the designers end. For my wedding, I was considering nomi ansari and reached via email. I very clearly stated that i was interested in the outfit (whose picture i attached) and asked him for time and cost estimate. he responded after 6 weeks. I then said, I would like to go ahead and place an order and NEVER heard back from him... like NEVVVVVVVVVVER. this was more than a year ago. so some designers are seriously unprofessional and don't give a flying crap about customers or orders. A family friend placed an order with Karma for an engagement outfit. They kept dragging and dragging. Finally the day of the engagement arrived and madam maheen kardar was nowhere to be found. The poor girl had to run around all over lahore to find a half decent outfit to wear. idiots!
I have been told one item can not be delivered from my order and my money will be refunded....2 weeks later I emailed again about the refund.....and the reply I got is ...the person who does the refund is out for a month...so I will get the refund once he is back......like seriously....you must be kidding me.....I can't even go back to th cc for refund as this order is almost 2 month old now.....
Me and one of my Bangladeshi friend were so near to place orders for Elan suits but somehow we did not and Im thanking to Allah that i did not, otherwise what would that friend of mine has got impression about our Pakistani business ethics. She instead has ordered from Aimen which i a very smooth going so she would have gone baffled if this had happened to her or me
^^ Ethic is a word ...no one knows meaning of in Pakistan.....Gul Ahmed is a big company and I had similar experience with them....I got my money refunded by choosing different suites....after 6 month.....and few hundred emails....I am not dealing with these businesses anymore....
I recommended the website to a friend for eid clothing. She placed an order first week of july for a ready made outfit with some alternations (sleeve additions i believe). She found them very professional and responsive. The outfit was at her doorstep in 6 days. The outfit was from the labels line. Given my own experience with some pakistani designers, i suspect a lot of the bad experiences may be related to problems at the designers end.
