okay i need your serious help puhleez!!! I dyed my hair about 3 weeks ago and love the color but my hair became SUPER dry!!! I naturally have thin very oily hair so this is really new to me…

I have literally tried EVERYTHING to make it soft for the past 3 weeks…I first of all trimmed my hair 2 inches (even the hair stylist agreed it was super dry), put on deep conditioners every day, slept with conditioner in hair, almond oil, an argan oil infused serum, hot oil wrap…I don’t know what else to do…I’m really anal about my hair so this really bothers me…I know dry hair is not good and will cause breakage and fall off..

please tell me what else to do ASAP!! I really want my healthy hair back..thanks soo much guys!!

It sounds like you might have bleached?

Anyway, I dye my hair a lot and have dry hair as well.

What I use is EVCO. Not the desi kind, it has to be extra virgin coconut oil. Put it on overnight and in the morning, my hair feels different.

You can also make a hair mask out of EVCO and avocados...that is amazing for hair.

I dyed my hair a reddish brown several months ago. I used L'Oreal Feria. Alhumdolillah my hair isn't dry. I used the Feria moisturizing conditioner that came in the dye box. And when it ran out, I just kept on buying another tube of that conditioner from Sally's Beauty Supply. It works well for me.

^I didn't know you could buy that conditioner separately!! I LOVE conditioners that come in hair dye boxes, I use them sparingly because they're so amazing and you only need a little lather and your hair feels like silk!

Are you using a shampoo/conditioner made for 'color treated' hair? Use protein hair-masks.

Dessange's products work for me. I had Dessange's nutri extreme shampoo, conditioner and mask. It was freackin awesome !!
They have a new packaging and appearently the new serum is really working.

thanks guys! I didn't even use those conditioners that came with them, but im gonna try it now...

I started using Neutrogena deep repair hair mask (orange tub) and omg it really helped! my hair isn't perfect but it feels so much better than everything else that I tried.

everyone with dry hair should try the neutrogena hair mask!
