The forums have slowed down considerably from prior.
Why not advertise this place on other popular websites?

A lot more people blog now than post. More forums than before, stuff like Facebook esp more popular than ever. Some people decide GS is not for them. Could be any of the above.
Membership intake has been the same, but the activity varies like it has always done.
