“super computer” still in making.. eventually i KNOW i’m gonna drop it off to my local store that i deal with when i have no time (read: inspiration) to deal my OWN things (yes yes, it WAS the 2005 resolution) khair.. now looking at 17/19" lcd screens.. and FIRST THING i noticed.. the vidcard in the system has a dvi .. along with it is a standard analogue connector…
looking into online materials, people PREFERED that if u ARE getting 1, get the digi-to-digi solution..
worth it? i KNOW its gonna be standard soon.. but will it be worth spending extra 100 or so? (CDN) ? (40-50euros)
recommend brand AND prices (online/offline) willing to ship/pick toronto, canada.
i think it already is standard.
if you’re buying a LCD, I’d look at Dell.
they have the best price/performace.
i purchased a 20.1" widescreen LCD for 599$ (CDN). I’ve bought their 19" LCD (1905FP) for 399$. They both have 4 built in USB2.0 ports. My 20.1 inch has 4 inputs. VGA, DVI, S-video, and composite. I watch TV on it.
And.. best of all, Dell is having 10 Days of Dell deals. One item for sale a day. They might have a LCD. Keep your eyes open. They sellout fast. Like within 40-50 minutes.
Downside is that they start this at like 8:00am. THats why I’m up now
thats what i wanted.. some recommendation.. so far people are saying dell , sony (same thing as dell uses sony's manufactured crystals anyway..) and samsung.. they say benq is an affordable solution.. but just the name, makes me feel like i'm chocked on my cuffs..
There are some Dell's that don't have DVI, I believe the 171FP doesn't have it. At work I use the dual 2001FP's and love their resolution and brightness. At home i have the 1901FP which 3 yrs ago cost me some $750 US. Now they go for $350 or so. What a life!!
