ok i want to use dvd-9 (8.7gb) or dvd-4 (7gb)…since i want to make a dvd and the data is large and i want to fit it in one cd…the thing is i have always used common dvd size which is 4.7gb…all i want to know is if i use these larger size dvds they will not create any problems and they will work on most dvd players just like the normal dvd?..and they will work fine in my dvd driver too when the burning stage will come? there is no difference between these dvds apart from the sizes right?
DVD-4 is Double Sided and DVD-9 is Single sided Dual Layer DVD, all these will work on most of the DVD players, depending on the content you copy it them. Get DVD9 as its larger capacity and its a Single Sided one (DVD9 is Just a normal DVD with two layers to record the data, so double the data).
