DVD players for $40

Ok i am not a Best employee or own stock in it but I just bought a cute lil DVD player from there yesterday for $40 and its great!

For that price I expected a piece of trash that did just the basics but found to my surprise that not only can it play mp3s, vcds, dvds but also has like 8 different outputs - everything from basic coaxial video to digital audio for surround systems. Though its only a day old, if you are looking for a cheap dvd player, I would say this is the way to go. has all the angle, full screen, slow, fast options on the remote and very light and small.

Model: khl-1220

It does not have progressive scan for those people who are looking for that. But with Best Buys 30 day money back guarantee, I would try this out first and if you dont like it return it before buying a more expensive model.

What brand is it???
btw, what exactly is progressive scan?
Anybody care to explain it?!!?

its a no brand name. KLH

Progressive scan makes the picture better but from the guy at Bestbuy it doesnt make a difference unless you have an Plasma screen or TFT screen

^
if that's what progressive scan is than it's pretty useless to me.
My TV doesn't have progressive scan capabilities anyway.

btw, this weekend i was looking through my newspaper and saw an ad of a DVD player by Koss (i'm guessing their kinda good in making DVD players) and it was only $49.99 canadian. but the catch is that it's refurbished so you can't really trust what kind of stuff you'r getting and then, ofcourse, it doesn't have a warranty.
