DVD Player in Lahore..

guys.. looking to purchase an inexpensive DVD Player in Lahore.. what’s a recommended model and average price?

Plus has anyone lately taken a DVD player from the US? do they still put duties on it and how much?

yo i got 2 dvd players in my room that i never use, both are nice "sony"...if u want it pay shipping and i'll send it over.

well i'm not a resident of Pakistan these days.. but i'm visiting and want to know if it'd be better to buy the DVD player over there or get one from here.. don't want to end up arguing with Customs etc on one item.. the flight is excruciating enough..

so any ideas guys?

u can get a good quality DVD player in Lahore for 6-7 thousand rupees.. prices have gone down.. plus u can easily bring a DVD player with u from anywhere now.. no one checks it .. one can bring one VCR or DVD without hassle at airports.. so if u have one already.. just carry with u.. but dont buy another for lahore jus for price sake..

it plays xvids, divxs, and others. also, plays a lot of dvd +/- R media ..

sells for 99$ CAN.

well the one nomaan mentioned is available here for less than $70.. that's like Rs. 4200 .. so i think it'd be better to take one from here no?

cuz i'm not sure if Customs would allow me to bring in a DVD player without paying any duties.. don't want to end up paying twice the price..
