Re: DVD burning

no

Re: DVD burning

hahha... no..

Re: DVD burning

Since many of my DVD-Rs were not even 1/3 full I just dragged my VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder into the DVD! HEHE

Re: DVD burning

I dont know how you are Burining DVD but if the client you are using to burn closes the DVD / cd after burining they you cant burn in it any more but if it leave it open so that you can write more data on the rest then you can still write more data...

check the Client configuration...

Re: DVD burning

I guess you're right, it didn't close them! Good thing. :)

Btw, what do you suggest? DVD-R or +R?

Re: DVD burning

I use both… for me no special difference… though I prefer DVD+R

you can read about it here:

Re: DVD burning

you can always buy some more DVD's :p

Re: DVD burning

But remember whe you will insert CD after burning again many time it will happn that it will be unable to detect the data that will be written after you have to insert it again... and have to chec it..

Re: DVD burning

that's why i'm not buying any till they come up with the RW's.. it's a shameful waste of a dual layer drive if i can't use RW's on it!!

Re: DVD burning

PA, u can't find the RW media? This is still july of 2006, isn't it? I've been using DVD+RW for years. Maybe I'm in the twilight zone today or something.

Re: DVD burning

some people cant afford them :p

Re: DVD burning

Yes I went out the same day and baught a pak of 50 philips cd-r, frekin BS, first two burnt fine but the ones after them tested 4 didn't burn at ALL! Or I think it's my burner because I tested the Fujifilm 5 pak cd+r I baught also, it didn't burn. FUDGE I hate PHILIPS BURNER!

Re: DVD burning

now go out and buy a new burner :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: DVD burning

Not funny lol, can you help me or someone?! What’s wrong with this burner? Is it that I burnt too many??? if it is I am going to kick philips’ ass!

i am using cocusoft software…

Re: DVD burning

you're asking the wrong person...
i don't know diddly squat about burners..

however i used nero to burn my cds.

btw, how often do you burn cds? like one after the other?

Re: DVD burning

yes because i am too lazy to decrease the video size of the movie.. so i burn two cds one after other. is that bad?

Re: DVD burning

hmm..nope, don't think so

as long as you're not doing it 24 hours of the day :p

Re: DVD burning

many ppl are selling away for few buck now a days on Ebay (Europe)... Dont know may the same problem you are having...

why not try updating the Philips DVD ROM firmware (IF YOU CAN).

Re: DVD burning

Why don't u use DVD Shrink and make the files down to under 4.5 gb? that way it will all fit on one DVD. Or use dual-layer media.
