dont even think abt it...i had owned a Benq CD writer and repented over it....my friend has tried a DVD-RW from Benq and he is willing to give it for free because it just keeps on destroying his DVDs....i suggest go for Sony, LG or Pioneer....
Dont bother with the early generation of DVD burners from most companies. Pioneer have the best writing algoithms they are on their 8th generation while most others on first. I have a Pioneer 107 no regrets in quality of burnt discs apart from dual layer support ben added in the 108 a monthe after i got mine. Another good burner is the NEC 2500 they are very good also comprable to the pioneer and the 2510 has dual layer support, its identical to the 2500 but meets quality control for writing dual layer media.
yea furqi
try to get your hands on the NEC 2510
it works just fine, and its way cheaper then the pioneers.
It s also really silent with reading and burning :)
yeaa..u guys are right ..i shouldnt trust the BENQ company lol
NEC 2510 sounds good.. i just read the positive reviews. I hope it supports the Double Layer technology withouth having me flip the manualy later on.
benq's been around for a while in asia and the m.e...but i'd still prefer pioneer or nec.
so 18 gigs on Double Layer Double sided burner?
