I ran low on coffee filters so, the second last one, I took out shook it over garbage can.
Washed it with cold water for 2 sec and used it.
I actually have been using same filter for 5 days now.
That made me think WTH
I would like rest of the world have thrown it out after single use.
Why they had to put extra material effort to make so durable?
That made me think that how many things are made durable that they last after their expected use.
Once I read old engineering was not “precise” they use to built elephant so it can support the weight of an ant.
How any thing is different now???
I mean who’s expense this being done on ??
monk is a fatty and lazy. I took my judgement from the fact that he hasnt replaced the filter. AND AND my analysis of his post tells me that he is one fine man.
Reha we were raised by scientist who thought or acted that planet earth, had unlimited resources.
Like man-o-salva… so they created an environment for consumer who consumed senselessly.
I don’t know how to explain this. But nothing is “cheap”
Cheap labour= some where, some one getting exploited on the earth.
Cheap stuff= ripping of the planet of its resources.
Also against every agricultural/industrial activity there is priced payed some where.
If the cost become more then form what earth can recover., we will all die!!
Now I don’t like that fact all the extra price paid in the name of durability, strength.
I mean come on, is leaf durable ?? or the branches or any thing in nature??
Mr. Monk, somew****here in these the forums, there is a thread on extremists. And some hold the opinion we should tolerate all views. Having been chastened by that (il)logic, I urge you to be tolerant of the proponents of environmentally destructive policies. Because, one has to be tolerant of ALL views, however irrational and destructive.
