Dupatta Setting for engagement

Hi Girls,

Quick question!

I am getting engagement Inshallah very soon and if i want to pin my own dupatta…what do i do it with? Do i use those pins that u use when you sew clothes? Wouldn’t they hurt?

Help please!

Use the regular pins (Google Image Result) - they don’t hurt or slip… try to use the ones that have a small head and are clear/white… they don’t show up at all

ive pinned my own twice and I only used 2 on each side of my head. and then i pinned the dupatta on my shoulders with a “safety” pin

Thanks girls…i’ll opt for the sewing pins in my hair n safety pins on shoulder…i have to wait till after Ramzan now, hate waiting! :mad:

on engagement only 2 pins r required 1 on head (hAIR PIN THT PASS THROUGH DUPATTA)other on ur back(SAFETY PIN)..bas
no need to fix dupatta so tight like bride...

how do you use the hair pin? the pins are wide so how do u pass it through dupatta? can u pls provide picture of how u do it?

Hey
As a photographer ive had to re do the duppata setting on some occasions where the in laws bought the jora when they came , its not a problem at all. Use fine hair pins for the head and create one or two folds and pin the shoulder , that should give u drape aswell as freedom.
