Re: dupatta draping
She has two dupattas, one is on her head and around the arm. The other one is in the front with the thick border. Hope this helps!
Re: dupatta draping
it does seem like two dupattas. Can you find any other image of this dress?
Re: dupatta draping
how is the other half of this dupatta (with thick border on the front) managed on the backside?
any idea?
Re: dupatta draping
i cannt find a picture from the backside... :(
Re: dupatta draping
I found a lot of pictures of this dress online. Let me know if you want them, I will message them to you. The other half of this dupatta (with the thick border) is just draped like a sari's pallu is. If you look closely at the right side you can kind of see the dupatta in the back too.

Re: dupatta draping
I'm not sure if this style is done in pakistan a lot, but it is quite common in parts of India where the bride would wear a saree. Zanib902 is right, the dupatta on the shoulder, which is more likely to be made of a heavier fabric, is shorter, and draped like a saree pallu. It's length wouldn't exceed your shins from either the back or front, and side would be pinned to the hip to show off the drape of the dupatta.
The second one, on the head, is probably made of a lighter material like chiffon or tulle It has minimal embroidery at the borders. It's probably most likely pinned at the shoulders and on top of her bun, with the weight of the border resting on her head, not her hair-do. One end is pinned around the wrist and the other is allowed to hang freely behind her back.
