Hi all OK so i need some guidance as to the work on the dupatta border, and more specifically the side that goes on the head.I’m in the process of ordering my dress, but the designer said that if he does a 1.5 inch border on the dupatta (on all sides, including on the side that goes on the head), total would be 2 lakhs, and if he does a 4 inch border on the ehad side, it’s 2.5 lakhs.I’m a bit stuck, i’d love to save almost 500€ but would a 1.5 inch border look OK (bearing in mind that there’s plenty of work on the shirt) ?

Hi. If the dupatta is just 3 Yards then I'll suggest you to spend more money for 4" border on one side of the dupatta but if dupatta is long like 3.5 or 4 Yards then there are so many ways to drape the dupatta and 1.5" border would be enough...

How about 1 inch border on three sides and 3-4 inch on one side that goes on head. Also If shirt has a lot of kaam i think a thick border on one side is much better option than small border on all four sides. Will there be small motif spray on dupatta too?
