Would you do it in parties and formal setting? or do you think its considered bad manners?

I love dunking cookies in tea, my kids love it too!!! I'd do it at a party or dinner if the cookie is dunkable! Maybe meander into a corner and have the secret pleasure and a big smile on my face!!

I don't dunk anything in my coffee.

I dunk cookies in my milk but then I cannot drink that milk...I guess I don't like crumbs.

I’d dunk biscuits in chai anywhere. Obviously with some manners. Don’t the british dunk their biscuits in their tea or formal lunches n hi teas? I heard

Well , not in very formal setting, but yeah brits love dunking their biccies in tea

We need to find out what our Royal family think of it though .. I wonder if The Queen does it too .. if she does then heck yes , brits dunking biccies will most certainly become a formal ettiquette

Not in parties and formal settings for sure yo. Now…say ya at the party of people whom ya know very well..then doesn’t matter. I might dip my biscuit or rusk in my tea..

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you meant "chai meN biskooT Dibo ke khaanaa" ... lol...i thought you asked for Dunkin Donuts...hahahaha

yes i do, i love to "chai meN papa Dibo ke khaanaa'! :) i have it almost daily for a period of time then stop it completely to pick 'chai N papa' again after a lapse of a week or two. :)

Yayyy! At home or at a close friend’s house: No issues.

At a “formal” gathering: Depends on how formal it is.

have you tried dunking ‘PAPA’ in your Indian ishTyle Dhaabaa tea? try once if you haven’t then lemme know…believe me, you will LOVE it.

papa = indian rusks [Indian papa is a two piece rusk (round) shaped like a small bun (domed top sitting on flat bottom)]

arnt these called Rusk, KKF?

I love eating them when i visit Pakland .. infact everytime family tries to make me drink that pakki hui chai , ( I hate the taste of pakki hui chai ) I ask for rusk to go with it , coz rusk changes the taste of that tea

yes, they are called rusks but in India there is another variety called ‘PAPA’ which is a round two piece rusk [top is like a dome and the bottom part is plat]…i love the upper because it has a yummy crust!

Ohh no , these are those things that are just puffs , hai na?

I got majorly misled once when i was in Pakistan , invited to a dawat right after my wedding and I thought these are patties , so I put in loads of ketchup and another sauce and when I took a bite , i realized there is no filling in it .. I thought that one piece I was having must be a bad piece , so I took another one and the same with it , no filling !!!

Then I had to ask husband ahista sai , why the filling is missing .. and then he told me is ko ketchup ki saat nai , chai mai laga ki khate hai :omg:
