Unfortunately “darta hai” is not a transitive operator over the set {aadmi, kutta, biwi, chooha, billi}.
i.e. kutta aadmi sey darta hai AND aadmi biwi sey darta hai DOES NOT imply that kutta biwi sey darta hai.
cycle complete nahi hoti… no gol matol…

Chalta hai sounds a little better than Darta hai.

I use that word too but only with people who are in my age group or younger friends… because it is considered extremely disrespectful to call elders with such titles… connotation does refer to being “silly” but the context is relative to the age group.. unless of course, you are in the same age group of Uncle James:D which I was assuming you were not
