when you put a monthly limit to the phones for security reasons, that if you loose it you dun endup paying too much for any unauthorised calls, and when you reach your limit it blocks outgoing calls.. :emmy:

it sucks when can’t even dial an 0800 number.. :naraz:

At first I thought 800 numbers were free from cell phones too but I learned my lesson the hard way. Instead of using the office phone (when I was 16), I called an 800 number using my cell phone :smack: When Bill came, I was like whaaaaa? :what: Then I called the phone company and they told me no matter if it’s a local number or toll free number, you still end up using your minutes…

However, in your case, you should be able to dial that from a pay phone, right? :hmmm: I’ve never tried dialing a toll free number from a pay phone though.

^ from payphone it will cost me around 60p/minute :hinna: just called customer services, paid to clear limit and they say it will take upto 24 hrs. :naraz:

i have post paid connection and at times i end up using beyond the limits but usually somebody goes and deposits money for me so its not tht bad but ya if the calling facilitiy is blocked than ya it gets annoying!

it gave me a company phone, but I dun expect it to pay for my personal mobile, especially when monthly bill is in around 4 digits.... :@:
