Yaar what you guys think of Moosaje at Saadar! is it a good option to get and stitched Sherwani or Kurta from their shop? Do they have a good designs and material?

I think your best bet would be to go to each of them, look at their stuff, try them on and see which of them carry the perfect design/fit/material according to your taste.. and not to forget also which one fits into your budget.

Check out local tailors , in moTan das or corporate cloth market in front of GPO saddar . They can sew and scissor menswear style much better than any above mentioned designers /retailers

And there is a market in front of the famous Lake Street at tariq road, I can’t recall the name.

I think it is before mateen centre , on your right hand side , if you are coming from Bhadurabad .

God, its been so long now, I miss Karachi …

Sohail try Munib Nawaz (altho i have had a horrible experience with him in the past, his assistant is very good tho and nice)
Ismail Farid is also very good, he is located in the same lane in zamzama as costa coffee. he is a nice guy and is usually in the store in the evenings (his assistant is annoying tho)

Muneeb Nawaz is horrible and very unprofessional! He's also good friends with Nomi Ansari which atleast tells me a lot. They both have bad attitudes towards their clients and I would honestly never recommend anyone going to any of these two men. They have gorgeous stuff but so do many many other designers in pakistan.

I think the fitting of a sherwani makes a huge difference in how the overall look comes out, regardless of how nice the sherwani actually is. If you have a really nice sherwani, it wont look so good if it does not fit your frame properly. My husband got his sherwani tailor made to his size and it fit him so perfectly it looked fantastic. I see other guys whose sherwani's are too broad at the shoulder or way too loose at the waist etc, and it ruins the whole look. So I do prefer getting it stitched for you instead of buying off the rack, and if it is ready made, be sure to take it to a tailor to get it altered for your size. Small details make a big difference!

Muneeb has made so many clothes for my brother..and most of my friends go to him and Mansoor @ Amina Yasmeen but i've never heard anyone say he was rude.. nor any bad experiences either =(

^we were having him design uniforms for employees at my dads hotel in khi. his management team said it was awful working with him and consequently they dropped him and got the uniforms elsewhere.

where in karachi can i find sherwani and suits for wedding...my fiance dont want to get so expensive because he will just wear it on the wedding day...must be around 20 000

PLK starts from Rs. 10,000 amd the fitting and kaam is great. The others can go up to Rs. 50,000 plus esp. for Amir Adnan, Aijazz Aslam and Deepak Perwani. The non-designer shops in Tariq Road's Kurta Gali are really good options as you can find sherwani starting from Rs. 8,000 and onwards. A shop right beside PLK quoted Rs. 6,000 for the dulha's sherwani and I really liked the kaam. NAUSHEMIAN also comes highly recommended as they have very reasonable prices. You do have to haggle everything to death. :)

*NAUSHEMIAN is excellent my fiance got his made from there. We've not seen it yet but the samples they have in the shop look fantastic. Remember though you should go to the Saddar branch, although it's a little small and in a terrible place they allow you to haggle whereas the Defense branch won't let you!
