How many of you have experienced that *dulhan *in some families remain *dulhan *even they have jawan bachay of shadi ki umer?

I heard so many time… Dulhan say kah do… and when I saw dulhan… it was middle age aunty with whole kunmba… Why do saas keep tagging them Dulhan(nau behata) in regular conversation… ?

That was old trend and normally saas and susar used to refer their Bahoos like this 'choti dulhan', 'baRi dulha' and then domestic servants followed the suit. Now, this is not that common

ji as Muqa Bhai said that it WAS traditional to call bahu as “choti dulhan & bari dulhan”… but now people dont use it much..

I heard it 7 yrs back when we went back home..to the village for a few days... ppl referred to my mum as ******* k dulhan... as well as to my khalas as so n so k dulhan. When i heard it for the first time I gave my khala a weird look. Later she told me that old ppl still do that.
