Re: Dulhan
So what , ma mah still calls one of her Sisters in Law ‘Dulhan Babhi’ . Infact we all call her Duhlan babhi instead of Muma’ni or Aunty . And Dulhan Babhi got married when me maaah was only 5 ![]()
Re: Dulhan
i am not referring this as cute aspect or not.
it is just tradition, and i have seen this among urdu speakers pakistaniz.
ps. one family i have seen even have lakar nani
well in that case its hard to remember names, innit?
Re: Dulhan
lol, everyone on my Mum’s side still call their BIL Dulha Bhai (Mum’s sister’s husband)… he kinda got stuck with the name, even up till he himself became a grandfather (so u can imagine his age)… may Allah rest his soul in peace, Amin ![]()
so u can see its not just the girls that get stuck with the title… I think its kinda cute, especially when elderly ladies use the terms like “Asif ki dulhan” irrespective of how long Asif may have been married for ![]()
Re: Dulhan
She probably got all intimated by how gorgeous the new ‘dulhan’ was.
Re: Dulhan
lol. i doubt it but thanks ![]()
