DULHAN KI BEHEN

Hey guys!

So my sister is getting married next year insha Allah, and we are starting the shopping and ordering process this summer. I have always believed less is more, and have never really worn anything too waa-waa-woom! Except for on my wedding day, but that to compared to aaj kall ke lehnge, was a pretty simple one, lol.

But my sisters and my mum are now telling me I need to get proper kaam waley kaprey, with lots of tishum ta’raa! :silly: So tell me guys, what should I wear, as dulhan ki behen…I have no idea. Lehnga? Saree? Shalwar suit? I have no clue…please guide me through this terror :halo:

Also, where can I get suits for reasonable prices in Lahore.

Re: DULHAN KI BEHEN

As you dont like alot of kaam dresses, for mehndi you can wear a simple lengha choli. For example, a jamawar lengha with a simple top that doesnt have too much kadai on it. As for wedding day, you can wear a heavt short kameez with capri pants, because its a kameez, it wont feel too heavy.

Ive heard liberty market in lahore is good for affordable outfits, you can try looking there.

You can repeat your wedding dress at your sister's wedding. A lot of people are wearing ghararas. You can wear a nice sari.

Re: DULHAN KI BEHEN

Hiya, I am getting married this December inshAllah. My elder sister who is already married is wearing a maxi gown on Baraat. It's with loads of work but she is keeping it a light color which draws back the attention from a lot of work and the focus is only on the beauty of this maxi. It's actually a very elegant Gown. I think as bride's sister you have to look OTT specially on the baraat. That's what my sisters think lol. For walima you can go a bit less formal. Hope this helps X
