is it kool if my dulha wears a tux/suit for the baraat and then a sherwani thing for the walima?? i hear its usually the other way round..but its cos im going to be wearing a gown for the baraat, n i dunno how i would match up to the hubby if hes gonna be wearing a sherwani

I personally think its better the other way around...but I guess its always been like that because the bride wears a more traditional lengha on the first day hence the groom wears traditional too..

its completely okay..
infact i was gonna do the same thing.. but i realized dat da "valima" in paki (sadly) isnt given that much importance as da baraat.. and the video/photo coverage is more in the baraat as well.. but i guess u cud cordinate that wid da photographer.....
and my cozn did the same thing..

see thats the thing, cos i really wana wear something western on the baraat day as the gown i want is pretty elaborate, it'll end up looking rather odd if i wore it to the walima
and my eyes are set on the white gown made by nilofer shahid, i'm yet to make an appointment with her to discuss my ideas

here the walima is pretty big too (well depending on each ones budget)..and not so much worrying for me, but its my dulha im worrying about lol dunno how its gona look if he wears a sherwani on the walima, cos most pictures i've seen here, it's always the a suit or something formal

i don't think it matter, if you're going more modern on the shaadi then a suit will look better than a sherwani

i'm just imagining it in my head u with a gown and him wiht sherwani..my imaginary version doesn't look so encouraging..if u wear a gown make him wear suit. :) best of luck!
