i’d be really surprised if your cousins are hiding their identity out of fear in school - probably just ashamed of being brown, spoilt brats. but i’d let pakistani guppies from north america chime in. no one hides their roots in the US. not like mama yuropa where you have to take tests and learn languages just to be let in.

sure forget switzerland - my bad for thinking it is some idyllic parochial paradise where everyone is welcome. what about the rest of lovely europe? where do these prophet cartoons keep coming from over and over? if the US is so islamophobic, why is it denmark, france, italy, holland etc doing all the dirty tricks and baiting muslims far better than any dimwit on faux news can dream of? where is the hijab ban at? texas or france?

Well if they are calling themselves Indian then it clearly shows that that browness isn’t an issue. You hear far too often about Pakistani calling themselves Indian in USA or facing racist attacks for being confused as Arabs. Of course, that’s by no means a generalisation, so yes I am sure there will be dozens of “I am a born and bred American and no I have never ever in my life heard Pakistani disguising themselves as Indian” lines. That’s fine, I’m more than happy to hear that.

No Europe is not lovely, don’t get carried away. You somehow think I called mainland Europe some heaven on earth for Muslims or less Islamophobic than USA (at most I called it just as). If you’re saying Europe is Islamophobic - it is indeed, and whatever you are saying about France, Holland or Germany holds absolutely true. I can’t be arsed to dispute any of that. In fact I want people to acknowledge that, and talk about it and openly condemn.
