I did, but they just don't like the taste I have in cars & welll....All they know is how to plunder, than buy brand new S Class or 740ils, & have guest houses in Murree & Spain.

With the limited population they had and enormity of the resources, they did take good steps. However, what is the result of their education campaign?? You are in Emirates and you will know the inclination of their current youth better.

I was offered a job in Etisalat some years back. I came to find out from Engineers who had already joined Etisalat that even with the experience I had at that time, I would have still worked under new Emirati engineers who would know nothing and would not have the will to know. On top, they would treat me like a laborer. The salary as a Pakistani I would have gotten would have been much less compared to the one offered for the same position to a Westerner. I declined the opportunity for a much less salaried job in Pakistan with a much higher dignity.

I am sorry in Dubai or any where else this S hole GCC all you are is a 2nd class expat with no rights and can be thrown out in second,think before u preach others.ppl like you spread the word Dubai is so great and all that but in fact as you know its not.

Yeah sure, but nobody wants to get used to the stone age culture mentality in the present century.

The whole middle east region minus dubai's sky scrappers and desperation to be known as the world's leader/civilized society is a couple of century behind from today's/rest of the world. No matter how much this city likes to boast about its modernism, the truth is, the mentality of all living in that place (except for those westerners who have been charmed into being imported into that land for whatever reasons) remains a couple of centuries behind the rest of the world.

For young girls and guys who are inclined to look into possibilities of moving to this place after hearing people like Mal1k boasting about the perfect leadership of this land and the nobility of its people, I would try to have friend of a friend write her very own story on how she was DEPORTED with a life time ban to visit that place.When her family tried to approach the immigration to tell them the facts and that she has MISTAKENLY been declared illegal by her sponsor, the immigration authority refused to deport her and sent her to jail as a punishment for speaking out against injustice where she suffered worse treatment than animals in the third world country. All of this WITHOUT A CRIME!

She recently reached her family and has almost lost her mind after what she was put through. She's slowly recovering but I would try to get her to write her story in her own words which will be an eye opener to the expatriate guys and girls who wish to move to dubai.

It's a messed up place so people wishing to move there to live must be warned.
