Sulayem - a name famous with every car enthusiast in this world. He has a cool collection of supercars only, has beautiful expensive & exclusive number plates. So what does he do to make his own cars better. Well he took the engine of his own SLR, modified the SLK 55 AMG, fitted it with the SLR engine, & raced his own Enzo. Here is the result.

He has his own garage, back in 1997, I had the oppurtunity to visit. The best part is that I lived a year in the same area he did, & I always used to see him in his RR, but never had the oppurtunity to see him in his CLK GTR or Enzo. He has tons of supercars.

I drive a very modest BMW but if I ever have the funds I would get the SLK which appears to have blazed the Enzo. That is a sweet ride.

Yea, he is a very very famous rally champion of the middle east. He has been winning rallies, since I was age 14. He is not related to the royals in anyway. He is a self made man. He wanted to make money as well, so he started a business venture too, for his retirement. He has opened a franchise in Dubai - Hard Rock Cafe, which Im sure u must have heard of.
The SLK has been modified. The original engine removed, & fitted with an SLR engine. More torque, more horsepower per tonne, resulting in more speed.

I am even more impressed that he is self-made man. I know Hard Rock cafe very well.
Absolutely, the mod is responsible for the added speed. Driving in Dubai, is there a speed limit or does he go out on track/private road? It would be amazing to drive without speed limits or obstructions.

There are strict speed limits all over UAE, but the same exists in US/UK, so there are "dark" tracks, in the outskirts of Dubai, without radar or cops. The video is from one of those places. They were going 300kph.

There is a difference between a stock S500, & an S55 AMG. AMGs are not known as stock engines, they are basically modified, inside out. Then again, S55s are heavier, there is SL55, & SLK55, which I posted, which makes sense, coz it was fitted with an SLR engine. Now which S are u talking is stock...??? Any stock cars can be beaten by the Enzo, the point Sulayem tried to make was that power to weight ratio makes a hell lot of a difference if its a drag race. But if it involves cornering & hills, then definitely the power distribution has to be equal, both on the front & rear axle.
