salam,
I was wondering if anyone of you guys have some info about good, clean and not so expensive places to stay in Dubai. I am planning to visit Dubai in next two weeks and most likely will stay for 4-6 days.
thanks

here u go.
Are u looking for cheap, reasonable or an Xpensive place to stay. The shopping festivla has started, u will have a good time in Rigga road & Diyafah street. Other areas of interests will be Hatta resort, desert safaris, dinner cruises on dhows, & the shopping malls if ur looking for brand names, else the souqs have the bargaining material.

Mal1k, thanks for your reply.
I am looking for a reasonable place to stay, preferably close to downtown. I checked those websites but couldn't find much info about the rates.
Re: Dubai - places to stay
Here are some places to stay that I would personally recommend:
Avari Dubai Hotel - located in the main city, Deira Dubai
Four Points Sheraton - reasonable
Dubai City Center Hotel- attached to the shopping mall, really nice
Golf Club Resort- opposite to City center, free jet skiing and golf but expensive.
Jumeira Beach- right next to the Marina
Carlton Tower - very nice and reasonable, located right next to the waterfront in the main shopping district. A lot of other hotels on the same street.
The Hyatt Regency- has an ice rink and shopping area, also has a revolving restaurant on the top floor, but a little pricey.
If none of these help go to this site www.godubai.com then under tourism you can find all the hotels and prices. Hope that helps!
