The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Mercato.

Khaadi, Amir Adnan, Junaid Jamshaid.

Big Bus Tour, Desert Safari, Dhow Cruise, Aquaventure- Atlantis.

Delicious Arab food that is reasonably priced. Also I see that there are a number of thai restaurants. Can you recommend a really good desi Chinese or Thai place.

Also for shopping looking for bargain/reasonably priced artifact items that are local to the area. I am not interested in western designer outlets as they are plentiful in the west.

Desi outlets that have quality as well are comparable to prices in Pakistan. Not sure if these exist.

For those that live in Dubai. I will be in Dubai for 7 hours. What can I do there? And my flight lands at 7:45 pm. I would like to do shopping, but not sure if it is worth it because I heard it is expensive. But I want to go site seeing. Any suggestions? Also I am a girl going by myself, is it safe?

I can't tell you whether there are any Sales at the moment, but I can assure you: Prices in the US in general are much lower than those in Dubai. So shopping will be expensive.

So what would you suggest that is worth doing within 7 hours? Has to be close to the airport!
